Nerenda Eid didn’t set out to build a production company. She set out to learn everything she could.
She immersed herself in the commercial production industry, starting in New York and working across almost every department before making her way through the ranks of production. That experience gave her something few producers have: a view of the entire ecosystem, from the ground up. But she kept exploring.
She stepped into agency life at Anomaly. She served as Interim Head of Production at Even/Odd. She led creative and experiential/event production for brands like GE and Yeezy. She became Executive Producer of The Recording Academy Honors and Essence’s Black Women in Hollywood Awards which, most recently, has included helming its broadcast.
With every new role came a new perspective. Every team taught her something. Every production reinforced the same lesson: trust your instincts, know your value, and don’t be afraid to build the thing you wish existed. So she did.
Nereid Inc. is the culmination of nearly two decades of experience. An independent, multidisciplinary production company designed around the way Nerenda believes great work should be made - collaborative, resourceful, nimble and deeply experienced. Whether it’s creative, commercial or experiential production, Nereid brings it together to give brands and agencies one trusted partner from idea through execution.
Because sometimes the next chapter isn’t about finding your place. It’s about creating your own.
